Now in its second year this unique new event seeks to combine all the elements of the CV Show, Truckfest and Truck Racing into one at the UK,s finest iconic venue.
With 30,000 visitors last year the potential is obviously there for the event to go on to become the leading Trucking Festival experience in the country.
DAF, Mercedes Benz and MAN are among the manufacturers exhibiting this year with a good mix of trailer makers also such as Tiger, Cartwright, Cheraux, Schmitz and Kassbohrer taking large plots. LDV have decided to showcase their new van here as well.
Industry related companies such as JLD Driver training are giving driving demos and Pertemps are seeking to recruit for their LGV driver academy, all under the watchful eye of our media partners Road Transport who publish the two main titles Commercial Motor & Truck & Driver.
All the exhibitors will have the chance to join our opening ceremony / opening moving ceremony on Sat on the famous tarmac while the commentators highlight the companies to the visiting public.
On display over the weekend will be Stock Cars, Tractor Pullers, Hot Rods, Custom Vans and Trucks from all ranges of transport such as Heavy Haulage, Scanners, Covered Car Transporters, Walking Floor etc etc for the everyday person to see up close.
We are encouraging more local haulier involvement this year and to that effect already have over 200 fleet trucks booked in to partly offer their company services and with the christmas driver shortage starting to be discussed again, on the look out for experienced staff all while the drivers can chill out with the barbecue. Some of the well know names sending fleets along are SW Wreford, EM Rogers, BSI Transport, In Transit, Scotts Haulage, D&G Noble, Panic Transport, Howard Tenens and S&J European to name but a few.
Entertainment over the weekend features live music, bar and a barbecue / hot food on Sat eve. Radio Control & Model Truck displays. Local Childrens primary schools exhibitions. TV reality trucking stars from Shipping Wars Jemma & Laurie and Kids entertainment.
We have arranged 100 seats in our VIP Top 100 Truck Paddock Club Hospitality at the Brooklands suite overlooking the action for Sun if you have any special guests to be looked after by the Silverstone unique experience.
There is racing on track all weekend from the fiercely contested BTRA British Truck Racing Association Championship races supported by Pick Up trucks, Legends and the always popular Mini,s. So a Truck Show with displays all inside a fast moving race track. Acres of hardstanding with facilities unmatched at any other venue. Visitor prices geared to hard working families @ £15.00 per adult per day or £25.00 for the weekend. Kids 15 & under go free so all the ingredients are there for this event to become the biggest thing in trucking this country has seen for 30 years.
